10 Bible Verses to Jump-start Your Week

2bible_oct25I don’t know about you, but my Monday is getting off to a very s-l-o-w start!

The weekend was so much fun, filled with family and friends, and now it’s back to work.

Never fear, here are 10 verses (or a collection of verses) to start our week out great–even if you are having a slow start, too!

  1. Romans 10:12
“…the Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him…”
  2. II Corinthians 4:16
“…Our inner man is being renewed day by day…”john14
  3. II Corinthians 5:20
“We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
  4. II Thessalonians 2:16-17
“May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”
  5. I Peter 1:17-16
“Prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.'”
  6. Isaiah 40:29
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”dumb_bells
  7. Psalm 7:10
“My shield is God Most High who saves the upright in heart.”
  8. Psalm 9:1-2
“I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.”
  9. Galatians 6:10
“So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.”
  10. Philippians 4:8
“Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.”
