Well, it’s almost been a week since the most wonderful time of the year: Fall Back Time!
That means that everyone gets an extra hour of sleep, a good thing, especially since it happened on Halloween night…a night of epic trick-or-treating with the kids. So much fun!
We actually made it to early worship services the next day!
Then again, everyone has to get re-acclimated to the later time. I’m getting hungry for dinner at 4:30 p.m.
I’m not the only one. Try to explain Daylight Savings Time to our two furry family members.
It’s not so bad for our dainty little lady dog, Snuggles. It’s a completely different story for our big black lab, Spike.
Spike starts getting hungry (or at least acting hungry) at 4:30 p.m. every day.
“Look, dog,” I said, “They set the time back, and you’re going to have to get used to it.” It wasn’t like I could feed him early because the doggy cupboard was bare.
Lefty got home and we fed our pups.
It’s about 5:00 on Friday evening, and Spike is starting to complain. I’d better go take care of him before I post this!
BTW, I soon will be posting about my fun trip to Fayetteville, TN. It’s like antique store paradise! The clock in the above photo is from Magnolia Antique Gallery. Can’t wait for you to see all of the pics that I took!
P.S. I just fed the pups, and Spike is happy, happy, happy! (Snuggles couldn’t care less.)
